EDINBURGH FRINGE 2019
After the success of their debut, Love Songs, Trip Hazards present their second full-length show: about winning, losing, dancing and everything in between...
As far back as they can remember, Jasmine and Nikhil have been in a room with a dance mat, trying to win the iconic arcade game Dance Dance Revolution. And it hasn't been going as they had hoped. Recently named one of The Guardian's Best Emerging Theatre Companies, Trip Hazards present Progress: a playful and painful exploration of how friendship survives when we win and when we lose; a dance odyssey for the video game era; a duet made by two people with four left feet.
Blending choreography, theatre, live art and DDR playing, Progress is a tribute to everyone who's danced with a mate, and wished they were just that bit better.
Developed through The Yard Theatre's Live Drafts Festival and Arcola Theatre's Creative Disruption Season.
